Our 3 days in Italy are over and we are now in France with only 1 day of competition left ( final day we just drive up into Paris and positions can’t change )

Today was unusual as it’s the first days of wet weather we’ve had. And wet it was! It bucketed down especially in the afternoon

So I thought I summarise with the Good the bad and the ugly !

Good

We had great twisty roads and was a lot harder than people expected

We could buy great coffee in every petrol station!

The amount of tunnels and engineering in northern Italy is special

Fresh 🍕 pizza and lovely wine

The Mini ran like a dream and with only 700km left we are positive about reaching Paris in one of the test today we had the 4th best time

Bad

Not another buffet. We are in the home of great food but sadly our hotels didn’t get the memo.

Ugly

The weather couldn’t have been more different. Cold at times / zero visibility and tricky roads Fortunately the Mini too it all in its stride.

So on to Djion tomorrow and a party as group before we celebrate with black tie dinner in Paris with family & friends
