Baku

June 10, 2024

We’ve had a day in the capital of Azerbaijan and it’s been a delight

A trading city for thousands of years and dominated by Turks/ Iranian / Russians

Was producing half the world’s oil in the 1840s.

Full of lovely architecture both in old town and new city centre

Clearing customs was painful but a party in the F1 pits afterwards was nice way to end the day

Sunday we getting the mini back in shape to take on the next 2 weeks
