Our 3 days in Italy are over and we are now in France with only 1 day of competition left ( final day we just drive up into Paris and positions can\u2019t change ) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today was unusual as it\u2019s the first days of wet weather we\u2019ve had. And wet it was! It bucketed down especially in the afternoon <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I thought I summarise with the Good the bad and the ugly ! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had great twisty roads and was a lot harder than people expected<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could buy great coffee in every petrol station! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The amount of tunnels and engineering in northern Italy is special <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fresh \ud83c\udf55 pizza and lovely wine <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mini ran like a dream and with only 700km left we are positive about reaching Paris in one of the test today we had the 4th best time <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not another buffet. We are in the home of great food but sadly our hotels didn\u2019t get the memo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ugly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The weather couldn\u2019t have been more different. Cold at times \/ zero visibility and tricky roads Fortunately the Mini too it all in its stride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So on to Djion tomorrow and a party as group before we celebrate with black tie dinner in Paris with family & friends <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few scapes happened in the bad weather <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lucky plays a part. #37 was winning the pre war group for almost the whole rally. The alternator failed today dropping them back to 10th <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
